Sharp looking and very well made. I’ve been using mine for several weeks now. The materials are more pleasing to the touch and eye vs other average nylon Pack. It’s thin so it stays close to the body. While I enjoy how well it holds its shape, it does feel a bit boxy. Unfortunately, there are a few negatives, the shoulder straps aren’t as comfortable over the shoulder closer to the neck for me. Also, the padding on the back is not thick enough in my opinion so there is some heat and sweat. My guess is that it’s designed to have a lot of wind from biking but, it’s just not enough. One last complaint, there’s a large elastic area on the face of the pack that picks up a white ish looking dust. So I’m constantly wiping it off. With all that said, it still feels great, I’m proud to walk around with a brooks product and I really enjoy using it. It’s strong and beautiful . Read more

I originally bought this bag for graduate school. After graduating, I started to use this as a diaper bag! Has multiple compartments for diapers, lotions, bottles, and more!!! The front zipper provides an easy access to multiple items. Great backpack that has multiple purposes! Read more

This is a very nice very stylish backpack. The size is right. The straps are comfortable. I really want this to be the perfect backpack for me. But, it’s not. It just doesn’t have the organizational components to keep my various cords, power blocks, and work stuff organized. Things just fall to the bottom. I’m also not a fan of the stretchy fabric. Anything you place in the outer compartment “photographs” through and looks bulky and weird. The quest continues… Read more

This was exactly what I wanted for commuting and work !! perfect. No clips and attachments that make it look like a pannier. The attachment which clips the bag on the bike removes so easily. Final a happy and professional looking bike commuter briefcase. Mike MacDonald Read more

I purchased both the Pitfield and the Sparkhill because I wasn't sure which one would be better for me and my daily load. I'm returning them both. Everything in these backpacks looks fancy but the practicality and durability seem like an afterthought. In both packs, the sternum strap is too short to wear over a winter coat. The water bottle pocket, and the other small pocket on the top, are both made of super thin material that looks easy to damage. The back panel is padded with a sweat channel, but it is so thin I doubt it'll do the trick. The front panel is made of some latex-like material which looks awesome when the pack is empty - but when it's filled with things it is formless and weird-looking. Supposedly you're meant to clip your helmet to the top ring inside the front panel, and somehow half of your helmet will fit inside the latex -- but my Giro helmet doesn't fit even a quarter of the way on either pack. Also, clipping in the helmet (or a light) will render the front panel no longer waterproof, which I thought is a main selling point. On the Pitfield, the straps that hold the top flap in place are flimsy and fussy. I'm unclear as to the warranty on these packs. Unlike many other backpacks on Amazon, returns are not free. These packs look very stylish when empty - the trouble is, they're supposed to haul stuff. I'm not impressed. Read more
