Coming from the Glycerin 21, these are certainly an improvement. The sole feels firm, but has enough give that you feel like you're walking on a cloud and running on pillows. The ankle support is probably my favorite aspect, it really feels like they conform to the back of your foot. Would purchase again, but I'm sure Brooks will discontinue them for the 23s before long.
