YES - there are drain holes in the bottom in an effective pattern! Since there are no top views in the product info, I bought it on faith that there were holes in the bottom too as well as the sides. It also fits perfectly (tight) in a standard 5 gallon bucket, if you use a bucket to carry your towels and other stuff around. I expect quality from Brookstone, particularly for the $25 for a plastic caddy. It did not deliver - the storage space was smaller than anticipated and the handle was not well constructed - the bottom piece keeps popping off. Their caddylike basket with handles is a much better choice. Read more
