These were recommended to me from my eye doctor for dry eyes. I have been using them along with the disposable cloths and they are very comfortable. I am using twice a day and they seem to be holding up well and are very easy to use. They adjust to different size heads easily and you control the temperature by how long you microwave them. These really work ! If you Doctor has ever told you to go home and use a warm, wet compress on your eyes, you need these handy and comfortable little wonders. With an elastic backing that keeps them on as a soft pressure, you could easily fall asleep while wearing them. I have had trouble with a stye on my loser eyelid. The doctor told me to go home and put a warm, we compress on them for about 15 minutes. I bought these and they are wonderful. The small pouches fit beautifully into my eye socket and just rest in that space. They are easy to use and help the problem go away. If a small child needs the same treatment, do just the same thing. with the water on the cool like, about 5 seconds in the microware, lay down and put these on. Healing and sleep will encompass you. This compress turns the problem of performing twice daily prescribed heated eye compresses into something that is relatively hassle-free and much easier to continue longer term. Following the instructions in every detail is necessary to escape the issues some have reported but I have found this item works very well and has helped my symptoms immensely. I have found it helpful to heat this on a plate which I elevate slightly which allows more and longer lasting heat with less time in the microwave.
