These shoes are nice. They are comfortable. They are solid black that reflect light nicely, not a high gloss like wedding shoes. You will need shoe polish with them to keep them black. I scuffed the toe and immedialtley there was a a grey mark on the toe, but thats expected with a black dress shoe. I wish the buckles were a little bigger but thats not anything against the design, just a personal want. There somewhat easy to slip on without having to under the buckles and yet fit well while wearing. I do my floors and I have worn them and while wipe mopping floors and I wouldn't call them slip resistant but they're not totally bad on wet surfaces. They appear to be a a pretty solid shoe. Very basic design though, nothing special other than the buckles. Great craftmanship, but they run very large, I take a size 12 wide in all shoes & sneakers. I needed an 11 wide in this shoe & it fit perfectly. I always buy new soft thick coushion inserts for all my shoes, it saves on breaking in the leather time so they feel like walking on a cloud always from day 1. Edit: The seller contacted me, and apologized for the product having been damaged. They told me I was welcome to keep the shoes but they also provided me with a full refund. I’m not thrilled with a brand new pair of shoes having damage before I’ve even worn them a day in the office, but considering they were effectively free, and I tend to put a lot of wear on my shoes / use them longer than I probably should, this experience wasn’t a bad one. The shoes themselves are nice, not comparable to something at a $200 price point, but for the price they go for I’d say they’re a good value. The interior has some decent cushion and the straps seem solid and well-stitched. Thought the price here was too good to pass up, but there’s some kind of gouge or imperfection on the right side of the right shoe, immediately out of the box. Disappointed and will be pursuing a partial refund or otherwise return. Read more
