Bought these because I anticipated this pair of dress shoes to take some of a beating due to the conditions they’ll be worn in, so I didn’t want to spend a lot. I was cautious but figured it was worth a shot, and I’m glad I did. The shoes look nice and for being “cheap”, they are fairly comfortable and most importantly, they don’t hurt my feet. Are they the best, of course not, but they are better than I expected for roughly $30 shoes. I’ve spent more and gotten worse on other pairs, so I’m content with them. I have this shoe in tan as well. I wear each color up to 3 days a week each. This came nearly spit shined, though I shine all my shoes with Kiwi Parade Gloss and these shoes shine up incredibly well. The only alteration I make is the plastic heel caps to protect the heel from wear. If you walk mostly on carpet, you will get at least a year's wear out of these. I tend to walk on carpet and asphalt and I still get more than a year's wear out of them. I often get compliments on the shine and shape/look. Update. I finally wore out a pair. I looked back at the time I purchased and it was 2018. Amazing considering how much they were worn. "Wore Out"==> Inside arch area cracke slightly due to the years of flexing.
