So, I didn't realize these were fancy shoes. I bought them because I needed to replace my shoes that I wore down to oblivion. When I got them I thought, "These aren't hobbit sized. Did I buy the wrong shoes?" They are long, like wing tips. Turns out that's just how they look. They actually fit just fine. So let me tell you what. I put these shoes on, wear some nice khakis, put on a sweater and I have become the ultimate Pacific Northwesterner one can be. I felt so fancy and top class. I would wear these to a job interview. They just look so good when you wear then. Now I got hobbit feet. Flat, wide, brown tuff of fur on top to protect against the wet cold of the South Farthing, and these shoes HURT when you put them on at first. These are definitely shoes you need to break in. Or be chauffeured wherever you go. But like any other shoe, once you break them in, they're just fine. Which took me a while because I sit on my tookis all day long. And for the price, not bad at all. Cost effective high fashion. I dig it. Read more
Personal Review The Bruno Marc MaxFlex Oxfords are a surprisingly comfortable blend of dress shoe style and sneaker-like feel. They’re lightweight, breathable, and cushioned enough to wear all day without foot fatigue. I like that they transition easily from business-casual outfits to weekend looks, and there’s almost no break-in period. That said, they do feel more like synthetic casual shoes than true leather dress shoes. The material can crease over time, and the fit can run a little inconsistent — some pairs feel narrow in the toe or slightly roomy overall. They’re not the best choice for formal events, but for everyday work, church, or casual social settings, they deliver great comfort and value for the price. Overall: A solid, comfortable, stylish budget shoe — perfect for daily wear, not meant to replace high-end dress shoes. Read more

I am typically a size 10-10.5 in shoes. I've worn previous Bruno Marc shoes in size 10. However, these were about a full size longer than my other shoes that are pretty similar to these. Also, these are narrow, so if you have wide feet, be aware. My previous Bruno Marc shoes were fine in terms of width. Overall, seems to be fairly comfortable shoes and worth the price if they fit better to my feet. Read more
