They seem to grip very well, I mean it. Work Shoes - Yes. Comfortable enough. Restaurant Resistant - Yes, I haven't slipped or anything even close to it yet. Dress - Yeah. They're dressy. They've got a shine that doesn't go away. I don't know that I would call them "dress" shoes (I've got some leather shoes that are dress shoes and they look it) but they sure look nice enough. Derby Shoes - I don't know what a "Derby" shoe looks like. Polyurethane (PU) - Yes, they are all plastic. All shoes, it seems, these days, have some plastic in them. These are all plastic, and that's okay with me. These shoes are great, I mean it. I have worn these shoes every day for the past month, for two to five hours per day, and they are really comfortable and grippe. They work very well. My naked foot is a size 9, with thin socks on they're a 9.5 max. I bought a size 10 for these knowing that I'll be wearing thicker socks with them, and that turned out to be great. An exceptionally well-made, comfortable work shoe at a very reasonable price. Although recommended as waterproof restaurant wear, I purchased them for work in the garden. Their stiff sole and high quality polyurethane "leather" is scratch/scuff resistant. I wear a size 9 and the shoe is accurately a snug size 9, but does require a shoehorn. Pretty solid after breaking in but don’t buy into the reviews that say it doesn’t need it. The comfort factor was extremely low at first and my feet hurt horribly the first week of using them at work (bussing at a very busy restaurant). Fast forward a couple weeks later they are still getting more comfortable and stretching to my foot and way way way better than the first week. I’m happy with the purchase because these do feel like they’ll last much longer than any of the Walmart shoes but surprisingly not more comfortable than cheaper options. Hopefully in the next month or so they get perfectly comfortable and continue to last. I will also add I have very wide feet so if you don’t then you probably will be just fine first day in them but they are still having to stretch for my square feet. The material is very high quality and they clean amazingly easy. I got bleach all over them and not even the laces got stained, a couple wipes and they’re back to new looking. Read more

I highly doubt not recommend these shoes! I purchased these shoes and within 2 months the shoe was breaking apart from the sole, the outside of the shoe starting peeling, and the inside sole of the shoe broke apart. Unfortunately I missed return date, so I’m out almost $50. I expected more than two months wear from a pair of shoes. I am only giving 1 star because it’s required, it doesn’t deserve the one star.
