Absolutely love this product! It only takes 15-20 minutes to fully heat water. Let it go any longer you'll have to let it cool down. This isn't just great for showering while camping it also works really well for washing dishes! The battery last so long. You can get multiple showers in on a full charge. I will say make sure you turn the shower head off when not being used because of the water pressure (which I love) you'll go through a 5 gallon bucket pretty fast. Easy to set up. Great use of money. So I bought this because my hot water heater died and I could not afford a new one plus the labor it cost to install at this time. I have been using for over two months as I’m still saving money for hot water heater. It works great not much effort involved. I have two 5 gallon buckets of water that I heat each one for approximately 15 minutes in the winter or like 10 minutes now in spring. Love the switch on the showerhead that you can pause. I use that often and hope that does not lead to burning up the pump. But so far so good. I was unable to use the suction cup hanger as it would not stay up on my shower wall. But I don’t mind. I just sit the showerhead down in the paused position when I am lathering up. The pump last several weeks before I have to recharge. The little thermometer that comes with did break, but that’s OK now that I know the correct time to heat the water. It’s pretty much perfect every time. I think the only way this would be good for camping. You would have to have electric for the heater unless you’re fine with a cold water shower. Definitely has helped me in an emergency with no hot water heater. Read more
This BSEED portable shower kit was great. I actually used it when my home water heater went out, 5 gallons of water in a bucket, heated with the immersion heater, sprayer mounted in the shower. It worked perfectly for a few days until the new water heater arrived and was installed. The heater brought the water up to a comfortable temp, the pump had good pressure, and the whole setup was surprisingly reliable for a temporary solution. Now that it’s no longer needed at home, I’m throwing it in my popup camper for camping trips. It’s going to be an awesome off-grid shower upgrade. The pump is awesome. Runs like a champ, battery is great, smaller than i expected but with the small size moves water really well and can stand heat. The shower head is alright. I like the valve that can controll the preasure, which the pump doesnt seem to mind. But the holes are ok at best. The heater needs a 20amp circuit and draws a ton more power than most who are camping can supply. The heater does work, but unless you are at a campground with 20amp breakers and no showers it doesnt seem plausable. But again, the pump is awesome! Read more
Renovating my bathroom this week and it’s the only shower in my house, decided to give this a try for an outdoor backyard shower to hold me over. This is perfect and works great! The battery for the pump lasts for several showers. The pressure on high works awesome, and the hook for the shower head is such an easy set up. It worked great for the first use, after the water pump battery needed recharged the pump now just randomly turns on when not in use. The water pump batter needs to be redesigned. The water heater has been great. Read more
Our water heater went out for a week and we decided to try this instead of boiling water. This worked great! It was super easy to set up and use. The heater heated up water quickly in a 5 gal bucket and I appreciated the thermometer to keep track of the temperature. It mounted to the shower wall securely and the shower head comes with a helpful on/off switch. The pump was also quiet and small but powerful. Now that we don’t need it any more, it packed away nicely. Definitely saving it for incase of emergency! Read more
