This corset js surlrisingly flattering on a plus sized woman. If your on the fence go for it. It's comfortable and it would probably look best on a top heavy woman. I really loved the style of this top. It is made well and is exactly as described on the website. I bought it for a Halloween party and tried it on a few times beforehand to make sure it fit and that I could move in it. Unfortunately, on the night of the party, the zipper broke and I had no way of fixing it. It was also too late for me to return it. Fits fine, but perhaps a tad loose, I need to "monkey" around with the laces more. In reading all of the reviews about sizing, the ones that ring truest in my experience with the two corsets I ordered, is MEASURE YOURSELF ACCURATELY. Then use the guide for sizing. I wear a size 10 pant, but my measurements came out to an XXL! Shocking, but apparently pretty accurate; and FYI, I am very proportionate overall. So, don't go by the size you typically order or what you "think" you should be wearing. If you really want to wear these corsets, use your true measurments and the size guids and you'll probably be delighted with your purchase. I bought two differnt kinds; Black Steel in an 2xl and the regular Black in a 4xl. I usually wear a size 16 or xl in regular clothes. I think the perfect size would have been a 3xl. I have a 38 inch waist and wear a 38DD bra. The Black steel has lacing in the back that is very adjustable so I am going with that one. The Black one, without straps, is too big but would be perfect one size down. I am wearing the Black Steel corset for Halloween for my Medusa costume. I am shocked at what awesome quality this corset is for the price! It is a thick material, well cut with flexible boning and the laces in the back are very solid, similar to shoelaces. The cut is super sexy and gives cleavage for days and an itty bitty waist. I am super skeptical about buying Asian sizing but this is the best corset I've ever worn. Read more
