MUST HAVE!! The best quality caftan that you will find anywhere! Follow my directions to a T and you’ll never have to iron this ever! I have a minimum of 6 of these: when you open the package, the fabric will feel awful. Don’t worry! Easy to fix wash them immediately in cold water WITH FABRIC SOFTENER!!! a must! I use Downey liquid AND beads for these. Let them run through a regular wash cycle on COLD and EXTRA RINSE. After they’re done IMMEDIATELY put them in the dryer in MEDIUM high heat WITH a DRY towel or beach towel or any other clothes that you may have already washed with these. You can wash them with any thing the colors do not run. The main thing is that you put them in the dryer on medium high heat with other objects so that it’s not just the caftan itself going around in a circle as it will permanently wrinkle it!! There must be other items in there to get a clear crease free garment. Have them in there for approximately 20 minutes or 30 minutes however long you need your clothes to dry and you MUST IMMEDIATELY Hang them up prior to the dryer, shutting off. The next time you wash them, just run them through the washer with your other clothes on cold and hang them up to dry. No wrinkles, no problem and you’ll look fabulous! Great to lounge around in. The fabric is polyester and feels a little cheap. It also fits a lot smaller than the model in the images. I am 5'9 and wear an L XL and its just big enough to look flowey but not draping the way it does on the model. Its a thin lightweight material that feels cool in the warm air. Purchased the “Bsubseach Women Beachwear Turkish Kaftans Long Swimsuit Cover up Caftan Beach Dress”. This item was very poorly constructed with open, loose and frayed seams. Also the item fit lopsided. Very disappointed in quality for price paid. Returned immediately. Went back and read the critical reviews and they were absolutely right. Read more
Listen, I’m just going to be honest and say that I bought this because I wanted a silky pajama that no one would know was a pajama if they unexpectedly showed up at my house. I just want to be like Mrs. Roper, wearing kaftans all day when I’m not out and about. The fabric is soft and the fit is perfect. I’m 5’1”, plump and this puddles an inch on the floor. It’s excellent for lounging around the house or going out the door if you use it as a day dress. The fabric is slightly opaque but I don’t mind since it’s hot out anyway. Buy it. Buy several.
