I am in LOVE with the foil imprint on this fabric!!!It is so shiny and luxe looking! The fabric is of the kaftan is silky, soft and flows almost like water over the body whenever you move. It's such a sensual gown, I am loving it! I have to mention, though, that when it says plus size and one size fits all, it isn't exaggerating! I'm pretty sure there is enough room in this kaftan for two more me's, and if I were to guess at the actual size it could be labelled, I would say 4X or 5X. If that might bother you, then think about it before buying. However, if you aren't bothered by lots of excess room, or if you sew, as I do, and can tailor it to your preferences, this is a great deal and an absolutely Gorgeous kaftan! The fabric, as I mentioned, is silky, soft and almost like liquid cloth, with beautiful foiled golden imaging imprinted all over. It has a ruching at the breastbone that makes the waistline appear smaller and the bust larger, and also gathers any excess cloth that would make it hang wrongly into a pretty diamond-shaped feature instead. The length is likely perfect for most; I am 5'10", a bit taller than most, and it is at the top of my ankles. To me, that's usual and I like the length there. The quality is obviously quite good, as is the workmanship! That is a pleasant surprise, as most kaftans I buy have beginner sewing skills at best, but this garment is sewn very well. Every seam is even and has been finished professionally, There are no missed seams or hems, no uneven stitching; The entire garment is a beautiful pleasure inside as well as out! I couldn't have made a better garment myself, nor done the beautiful foil-work that it has, That is something I'm really pleased with and I feel that this is a fantastic garment and would definitely buy it again myself! I just keep looking at this lol, it's very very lovely hanging in my room. It will be my swimsuit cover-up when the time comes but for now I'm just enjoying looking at it. The material is thicker than I expected, in a good way. I've had t-shirts arrive that were thinner. This isn't some cheap kaftan, it has some weight to it, is quite nice quality. I have to say when I opened the package I thought, oh dear, this is a bit gawdy. Then I tried it on and I really like it! It's so light and comfortable and very roomy. I think it would be much too large for a petite girl as that, I am not. I'm 5'7" and 173lbs. The gold is quite brilliant against the black. It's gathered under the breast and there are two small holes so I assume you can add your own belt or rope tie. I didn't see one furnished with the Kaftan. The media could not be loaded. I LOVE this kaftan. It is beautiful and feel so soft and feminine. I love wearing these around my home. They are much nicer that pjs or a gown, and very comfortable. They make me feel fancy. I wish these would come in style for everyday wear in the USA. I would wear them a lot. The fabric is very light but not see through. This would be great for hot climates. That's probably why the Eastern Indians created them. The fit is versatile. I like how it fits my medium frame. This one is a little long on me. I plan on hemming it. Being 5'3" tall I often have to hem my garments so that isn't a game changer. This is quality designed and quality made. At this time the price makes this a good value for the money.
