I ordered a medium and my waist is 29", hips are 41", height 5'7". The fit is good! It's fun and alternative looking, the material is good quality, lightweight and soft. It washed through the washer/dryer just fine without shrinking. The length is just fine for me but might be too long for very short people. The pockets are pretty big and nice. Surprisingly breathable for black long pants. Ties on the side are good and stay tied.
