One of the best purchases I’ve made. This is my second one because I broke the other. Not a manufacture issue, that one was my fault. Like any glassware youll have to be delicate with it. That being said Ive made countless batches of cold brew at home. The metal filter makes it so easy to brew a batch over night or a full day when I want to make it stronger. I find that if I add the coffee in portions and hydrate in between it guarantees that all the beans will be soaked and it will give the best extraction. Once I take the filter out, it brings the water level down so I just replenish with fresh filtered water to the top. It waters it down just a bit which is perfect. One batch will last me about a whole work week. If I’m sharing it with my wife, which I often do, itll last about 3 days. Read more

I am in Northern Colorado and I drink a lot of coffee, particularly in the summer. I bought this, then another (Aquach Cold Brew Coffee Maker 51oz (1.5L) rubber gaskets and such) because I wanted one brewing while while drinking/washing one and to test filter micron size. I've come to find its infinitely faster to just filter the cold brew through a regular reuseable gold coffee filter into something else like a store bought, old V8 glass-container or something. I have since started using both this and the Aquach. I have to say this one holds up. Its fairly durable, I've bonked it a few times on things turning around and was surprised the container survived, and I have a dishwasher that almost takes the labels off glass and melts things (gets super hot and has some decent jets), which this BTaT is surviving. The Aquach is great and is holding up, but rubber only lasts so long, which makes the BTaT even more desirable, since nothing here really wears out easily. I have not noticed any difference in flavor from a relatively sealed cap (the Aquach with tight rubber cap) vs this BTaT (a sitting lid, but certainly not sealed). The height is just about perfect too. 9.5 inches on the mark, which just barely fits under my biggest shelf in the fridge. I am not picky about my coffee, but I am critical of things in reviews. I bought this 28Jun2020, and it is now 17May2022 and this thing gets a weekly use (sometimes x2 per week, but not often). Solid product. Read more

My brother LOVES cold brewed coffee. The carafe is gracefully shaped, easy to clean, and easy to use. And it's a heck of a lot cheaper to buy the beans and make coffee at home rather than buying it already brewed from a coffee shop. I had to re-order this pitcher because I made the mistake of putting it on the edge of the counter. Glass pitcher falling on to tile floor = shards of glass. The good news is that the new design does not include a rubber gasket, there is one less piece to clean, and I can reuse the metal filter as soon as I find a glass jar with a lid that is a little taller than a mason jar. I've had about 4 different iced coffee makers over the last two years and this one has been the best one so far. It takes at least 1 day of waiting after you add in the ground coffee and put it in the fridge. 2 days is preferred to get a more even blend. Easy to clean and maintain, especially compared to the other options. My one real issue if that the glass shattered after 1 year of use. I've found iced coffee makers to have a short shelf life, and no exception here. In hindsight, a cheap warranty plan would have been a good idea. Rather than buying the same device again, I will try out a 1 gallon iced coffee maker (twice as big) that's in a similar price range as this item. Read more

I love the size and shape of this cold brew maker. I wanted something that wasn't plastic and would look nice when company comes over. The interior filter is stainless, which cleans up really well. Read more

I like the capacity of this pitcher, and the stainless steel construction of the grounds/leaves basket is better than some other products I've purchased. The one weak link is the wire handle that allows you to remove the grounds/leaves basket. It broke inside of a week of owning it. The product is still usable without the wire handle, but it's annoying that the wire handle is so weak and poorly made. Read more

Has everything I want in a cold brew device. Easy to fill, easy to clean. Unexpected helpful features like gasket seal on the cap, which keeps the contents fresh, and a little handle for the filter tube basket, to make it easier to lift out of the carafe. The markings on the outside of the carafe are accurate. The carafe design is beautiful and graceful. Easily fits in my fridge. Coffee made with this cold brew carafe is fantastic. Read more
