I discovered BTFBM about four or five years ago, and I recognized that this brand consistently offers quality clothing that are set at a nice price point. I am picky, and prefer high - end clothing, but it is refreshing to discover the rare brand that I actually find clothing that I like. I normally do not care for polyester, but I made an exception for this vest, which is 95% polyester, and 5% spandex. It is a classic, yet stylish vest that features a single button closure. I love vest blazers, as they can be styled in so many ways, and can be worn across seasons, as it is a great layering piece, and also looks good sleeveless with a camisole or tank underneath. It is slightly oversized, in just the right way, and I love the length on my 5’7” frame, and the length on me is similar to the photos in the product description. I ordered my normal size Small, and the fit is perfect for me. I have always worn a lot of red, long before it became a “trending” color, but I don’t follow trends, I tend to be ahead of what is new, and I will always wear red! I selected the red blazer, and it is gorgeous. This is also perfect for the upcoming holidays! I also wear a lot of black, so I will purchase that one too. Ordered this blazer vest in size small and color beige. It is true in size but the style is loose vest. The quality is pretty good and it does not look cheap. The pockets are also real and not just for the design. The vest also comes with an extra button. I didn’t wear it with right outfit so the pictures don’t do justice but it’ll looks super cute with nice pants or even shorts. You can style it for both day and/or night time outfit. I love a good vest and I love a good blazer, so I really wanted to love this, but there is a very weird situation in the shoulder. Look - I like shoulder pads. I'm the president of the shoulder pad fan club. But putting shoulder pads, even these weird little half pads, in an open sleeves creates a strange pointy armor look. There's just the tiniest hint of the pointy shoulder arm opening in the product images, but it really stands up when I put it on. I don't know what kind of puffy sleeve situation I'm going to be able to come up with to smooth out the line, but I really wasn't expecting this. Vests really should lay flat along your shoulder, but this really feels like a standard blazer with no sleeves. Ignoring the blaring problem with the shoulders, the rest of the blazer is great. It's fully lined, well tailored, and has flat pocket flaps that tuck inside if you put your hand in them. I find it to be conservative but flattering and (would have been) a great way to quickly dress up a casual outfit. Read more
