Even though the tag says hand wash, I ran her through the machine on cold and gentle with Woolite, then dried her on low heat. She shrunk just a touch and honestly, I was glad she did. I ordered a size medium which ran a bit large right out of the package. The weave on this sweater vest is very nice and the fabric feels soft against the skin. The only drawback for me was the fit. There was extra room around the armholes and the overall shape felt boxy. I tried running it through a hot cycle in the washing machine and then dried it on high heat to see if it would shrink. It did shrink quite a bit. The photos I took show the difference before and after washing. Once washed, the vest fit more like a small and the armholes tightened along with the length. I would suggest sizing down and line drying to get the best fit since it runs large when new and becomes too short if you try to shrink it. Picture 1 is before washing, picture 2 shows before washing with a white undershirt to show the nature of the weave, picture 3 is after washing. You will need to wear an undershirt to hide your bra as the weave isn't a completely tight weave. There was very little fading on first wash. Read more
This was a great crocheted tank top sleeveless knit sweater. This is a great material but I would personally recommend washing and hang drying as it is a material that can possibly shrink. This is the cutest thing! This is what I was hoping for, a nicely crafted, lace-looking tank top to wear under suitcoats or cardigan sweaters. This tank is so pretty (and white, yay!) with such a pretty knit pattern done in super stretchy fiber that makes this non-binding, comfortable, and easy to launder. I took a close-up picture so you can see the girly picot edges and the overall quality. I don't think I've ever seen a genuinely knitted garment (as in knitted with needles) that is so expandable. This crochet tops material is softness. I ordered my normal size and it fit well. The description states that it can be used as a cover up. I find it too short for me to use as a swim suit cover but I can see wearing it also like a vest in addition to a tank top. The material is soft. Probably gentle wash cycle or even hand wash as it is crochet. I'm very happy with my choice. I'm sure you will be too. Worth the price IMO. Read more
Seriously obsessed with this top! I am 5’8 140lbs and ordered large because I don’t like really tight clothes, this fits exactly like I imagined, it is kinda crop but not entirely uncomfortable if you don’t like your stomach showing. The material is everything from thick, beautiful crocheted with a texture feel, pattern is lovely and soft! It is a looser knit so it does have small patches not a solid knit. This will pair with various things but for me I think I am going to mainly wear with some cute jeans and belt! But would pair with a long skirt and sun hat/ leggings and flannel/ etc! I am 5'7 150 lbs with a curvy figure. I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly. I wasn't sure when I ordered it but I really like this tank. It is super cute and comfortable to wear.
