I ordered two of these (blue and white, brown and teal). The lighter color (Blue and white) is lined, the brown and teal is not. The liner is a polyester material with a lot of fabric that flares out with the skirt and goes all the way to the bottom hem (which is ankle length for 5ft 3" me). It is not close fitted to the body. The unlined skirt was more flowy and draped better than the lined one. Both are see through. I wear either a knee-length slip skirt or breathable culottes with both. Overall I like this skirt. The color and pattern are very nice. It came with quite few wrinkles and creases, but I didn't think these were overly noticeable after washing. The skirt has a lining, so it is not see through, although I will say if it's a hot sweaty day that thin lining layer might trap heat and be uncomfortable. The one real negative I have is that it hits what feels like an odd length to me. I'm 5'7" and it hits on my ankle. If you maybe 5'4" it might be the perfect maxi skirt length. So just consider your height, any heel height, and what length/hem you like. Read more
If I could give 10 stars I would! I LOVE this skirt! As soon as I took it out of the bag, I knew I would love it actually as it is not that heavy, polyester type material that it seems everything is made of nowadays. It is lighter weight and feels like a poly / linen blend to me. Be aware, it is somewhat see - through as one of my pictures show. I took that when I held it up to a window. Except for the waist, there is no stretch to this skirt. The waist has a good, wide stretch panel of about an inch. I usually wear a 2xl which I ordered and the waist fit perfectly without digging in or falling off. Very comfortable. It is sewn well and I just love the color and pattern. I got the brown and it fits my boho style well. I didn't realize it, but it has non - functional buttons down the front. Cute, but not noticeable in my color. It also has tiers which I thought I would not like, but they are not very noticeable as well. POCKETS! It has POCKETS! LOL They are not very deep so I wouldn't trust them with a cell phone for long, but they are great for tissues, a lipstick, hands or other small items. I am 5' 4" with normal / short legs and it was a touch long on me, almost at the floor with very low heel boots on. I just moved it up my torso a bit and added a belt and the length problem was solved. I may shorten it a bit before summer. This skirt is of a light weight fabric, very casual feeling and comfortable. I was able to dress this up with an elegant blouse and high heals and lots of jewelry too. It's definitely a boho kind of feel, has a flowy feel to it and not readily something I would pick. The colors of the fabric were rather of a natural tone, enhancing the bohemian type aesthetic. I got ketchup on this and it washed out easily and dried fast. The fabric is of a canvas type textile material, light weight and lays nicely and has good movement. The size is perfect for me, I wear a 2x or 3x depending on the item. This was a 2x and fit fine. I will probably wear this a couple times a season. Read more
