For the price there is nothing to complain about this great little knife. For being made in China the quality is impressive. Construction is tight and I don't see any gaps or shoddy workmanship at all. The blade is firmly set and with the three Solos I have there is no wiggle in the blade at all. The wood looks a little dull coming right out of the box but it can be buffed up to quite nice. The pins are ground down nice and flush against the wood handle and do not protrude beyond the surface. Using a Spyderco sharpener I was able to get the blade shaving sharp. This is a great knife for light duty such as letters, boxes and all those little jobs that arise through the day that require something sharp. Read more

This is such a sweet little pocket knife. I keep it with me constantly and it's inconspicuous in my pocket, light and not bulky. It's very sharp and beautifully made. This one replaces the same knife model which I had lost. Read more

I have to wear heavy chaps for work this knife is small enough that I don't feel it underneath and it's the perfect size for everyday small jobs like opening mail, breaking down boxes or cutting rope. Read more

This is a very well made little Buck for everyday carry. People seem surprised to see such a nice small Buck 379 and they like it. It makes for a nice 5'th jeans pocket carrier ready for smaller jobs. The wood scales and brass bolsters make for a fine looking knife! Read more

Made in China. Otherwise I like the knife. I really do but I dont like that its made in China. It comes with a good edge, but its made in China. It is real wood for the handle, but its made in China. This is a handy knife. Takes a good sharp edge and holds it. It is not designed for heavy-duty use but is easy to carry. I learned to wrap this knife in a rubber band to keep it from falling out of my pocket. I currently have a couple. Read more
