Great brand & coat
2nd year of use, keeps my daughter warm and no real wear & tear! The side zipper aspect is kinda annoying but you get use to it and not a big enough deal to remove stars, especially since you buy it knowing the zipper is at the side. This is the 2nd time we’ve bought a Buckle Me jacket and the first one also was fantastic & worn for 2yrs, just had to size up and chose this version! Read more

My grandson wears this jacket, bought it for him because his parents like to takeoff his jacket in the car when they put him in the car seat. Perfect now I don't have to worry about him not having a jacket on definitely a great buy. Read more
Love it on cold days, but...
This coat is super convenient on negative degree weather days or if I forgot to warm up the car beforehand in the winter. However, it is a process to get my daughter buckled in with it on, resulting in me having to stand in the cold and buckle her in WAY longer than I otherwise would have. The Velcro on the shoulders seems to get in the way and she always complains that they hurt her because they jab her in the neck sometimes. It's also hard to get her out of the car with it on (I need to remove each jacket flap, then each arm separately), which makes me wonder what would happen if we were in a crash and how an EMT, etc. would get her out without prior knowledge to how she's buckled in. Most of my family who haven't been told how to get her out will try to pull her out without realizing the process that is needed and end up needing assistance. Read more
