This coat is super convenient on negative degree weather days or if I forgot to warm up the car beforehand in the winter. However, it is a process to get my daughter buckled in with it on, resulting in me having to stand in the cold and buckle her in WAY longer than I otherwise would have. The Velcro on the shoulders seems to get in the way and she always complains that they hurt her because they jab her in the neck sometimes. It's also hard to get her out of the car with it on (I need to remove each jacket flap, then each arm separately), which makes me wonder what would happen if we were in a crash and how an EMT, etc. would get her out without prior knowledge to how she's buckled in. Most of my family who haven't been told how to get her out will try to pull her out without realizing the process that is needed and end up needing assistance. Read more
