Buckwheat Hull Pillow Small Travel Naturally Cooling Firm Support Deep Comfort 100 Cotton Case Premium Hulls

I bought the travel size but won't be using it for that. I am using it on my loveseat for lumbar support. I may be removing some of the buckwheat because the pillow come tightly packed. Better to have to much than too little because it can be adjusted. Workmanship looks excellent and the added cover is a nice bonus though I would have liked to have a choice of colors for that. Update: Yep, I removed two ceral bowls of buckwheat and that made the pillow perfect for my lumbar. Removing the the hulls was easy thanks to two zippered parts on the two covers inside the outer cover. Easy to just pour the hulls into the bowls. I've saved what I poured out so I'll have the option to make changes if needed. Read more

Great little pillow. I ended up taking out some of the buckwheat to make the pillow less firm and more malleable. I sleep on my back and am able to adjust the buckwheat so that I have good neck support and a small indentation for my head, which keeps everything in proper alignment. No more sore neck. I ordered the travel size, and it’s a perfect size for regular sleep. Can’t see why one would need the larger pillow unless they toss and turn a lot. I started buying buckwheat hull pillows because I am a side sleeper and often wake up with shoulder and neck pain from poly fill pillows that that get too flat and down pillows that compress way too much. I really liked the buckwheat pillow I had before this one but it did not have a zipper to add more and was not the best quality. This one though... I bought the medium. It is about the same size as my other one (both are smaller than standard pillows) but it has a double case and an additional outer pillow case. Both of the inner cases have zippers so I can add more. I ordered more organic buck wheat hulls here on Amazon. I LOVE the 100% cotton cases that actually fit it. I have been putting my other one in a standard case that is too big and it looks sloppy. I dont have to do that now! And 100% cotton is getting harder and harder to find, it was part of the reason I buoght this one. The other reason was the organic buckwheat hulls. The firmness is great and it stays cool. It keeps my head and neck supported without letting my head tilt down while I sleep on my side. No more soreness! Really... I woke up for the fiest time in... I ordered the medium and it was not thick enough to sleep on. I sleep on my side and my head was in a downward position which hurt my neck. I am using it behind my neck in my recliner and it works for that use. Read more

This pillow is beautiful as well as very quiet for a buckwheat hull pillow. It comes with a quilted cover AND a lovely pillow case. I have GERD so it was a bit too flat for me but I think it is an excellent product. Read more

There was a small bug on the cotton cover inside the sealed plastic bag. It is really small, the photo is through a magnifying lens. This is the second time I bought a buckwheat pillow, the other was from another brand, both reviewed well but both had at least one bug. Returned and at this point I think I should give up. Read more
