I wanted to try hospital sox and found these in chenille. I have very thick ankles (think clydesdale horse) and these stretch like crazy and don't leave a mark somehow. My feet are 10 wide (womens) and these sox are a tad short but they do stretch to fit even my feet. The grippy bottoms are nice but I have very sensitive feet and the first 5 minutes shoeless on a wood floor were a lot - but after that you don't notice it. I threw them in the washer (gentle cycle) and dryer (low heat) with a very full load, including 2 pair of jeans. One of the bottom grip segments came off but it had chenille on it - no harm or adhesion to other clothes in any way. Jeans and crowding are not the best way to wash these. I love these sox. They feel so good and are cozy and warm. They are replacing my old sherpa lined acrylic sox. Bonus, they somehow fit in my shoes! Definitely will buy again! Read more
