I love using this for a homemade version of Iced Green Tea with Honey and Ginseng. It only takes 1 teaspoon of this powder for the entire gallon that I make at a time. I will say that it leaves a bit of sediment on the bottom of the gallon if you don't stir before pouring but it makes a delicious, refreshing beverage! In a gallon pitcher mix: I tsp matcha 1 tsp american ginseng powder 3 TB lemon juice 3 TH honey 3/4 cup sugar (or just use more honey) Mix well and finishing filling the pitcher with cold water. Chill and stir before serving. Super easy and fast instead of brewing a pitcher of green tea. Obviously adjust any of the flavor components to taste if you like it stronger/weaker but this will give you a good starting point. I'd REALLY love to use it in some baked goods, maybe a matcha cream filling in a vanilla cake? I haven't found a promising recipe yet but I'll be experimenting soon. Read more

I tried to return this matcha to Bulk Supplements because, as you can see, (in my not so great kitchen lighting!) this is not ceremonial grade. They refused the return stating that they had verifiable paperwork. I suggested it was mishandled at some point down the line. I worked in a small specialty grocery store for 6 years, and I packed our ceremonial grade matcha tea, so I know what I’m talking about. I also know how quickly it can oxidize if not handled properly. I should have guessed at the price. And the bag came in without the “Matcha” imprinted on it..I have never seen that when ordering other supplements directly from them. This tea is ok to bake with and put in smoothies disguised with other ingredients… Read more
