IT's Great just like all of Bulk Supplement Items I have only been using a couple of day and when I wake up ( I work third) I usually have a blurry film over my left eye and it take hours to remove it and sometime it wont go completely away to day I woke up and my vision was so clear not rubbing or straining at all well may be 15% here and there a lil but nothing like usual and that will probable go away in time much less strain than usual ...My eye are clearer at work I use machines all might so I read same words and write a lot again I didn't strain near as much as usual hopefully it just keeps better and better in the future thank you so much for great fresh products at a great Price !!!! When put into a Kombacha drink this BulkSupplements Zeaxanthin powder was impossible to mix into the drink. It became a solid clump of yellow Glue/cement like substance. I did not bother putting it into hot water as there is no way this muck was ever going into my body. Rather than putting this into my sensitive digestive track I deposited it directly into the trash. I put duct tape on the package to make sure some poor animal doesn’t eat it. And if that is not enough...be very careful with BulkSuppliments LUTEIN Powder. In their product description for Ingredients the picture shows OTHER INGREDIENTS: NONE. But when I received the product it said on the package OTHER INGREDIENTS: MALTODEXTRIN. This is an ingredient you do NOT want to go into your body. Very deceptive. And their products are unreturnable. I used to think BulkSuppliments had good products. Maybe it was sold to someone else. Never again with this company. Waste of almost 40 bucks for the Lutein and Zeaxathin powders. A commenter on the product description page tried to warn of this Maltodextrin deception but I didn’t listen. Lesson learned. Read more

Update2: my measurements suggest that 100mg(days portion) corresponds to a smidgen(1/32 of a teaspoon) plus a drop(1/64 of a teaspoon) in measuring spoons lingo, for a total of 3/64 tsp). And one can buy said measuring spoons. Update1: raising from 1 star to 4 stars. Reasons: 2 reasons 1. It is a good (I assume) product for good price. I feel I might have been unfair to give it only 1 star. 2. I figured out why I could not re-seal the bag. I looked closer why the bag was not sealing. I saw that the supplement powder was wedged into the seal (from the factory). I ran my nail through the channel, and dislodged the powder out of it. At that point the bag sealed fine. 3. I am keeping 1 star off because there is no measure spoon included. I will feel silly if I will find one at the bottom of the bag. But even if that happened, the measure spoon should be made obviously available, if it actually is incuded. But I doubt it. Original 1 star review: I just got this product. It does not have much taste, and is easy to take. I don't know how effective it is yet. I tend to hope that it will work as it should. Honestly, the product is a great value, and probably deserves more than 1 star. I hope the company will pay attention to such low rating, and will make corrections in the future. Here are the 2 issues: Issue #1. I can not re-seal the package. What's up with this? I can buy a 10c plastic bag that will seal easily and reliably. This company is selling $20+ of supplements, and they can't provide a bag that works. Admittedly, this bag has 1000 servings, which is nearly 3 years of supplement, which is a great price. But what good is such a deal, if the supplement will get stale? Issue#2. The dose is 0.1gram. How is one suppose to measure that? The supplement is a powder. Could the company not provide a little plastic measuring spoon ? Let's say, in bulk, such a spoon would cost 1c. What's up with this? In conclusion, this company is providing a cost effective alternative to other companies offerings, but for 11c of options that are missing, they make their product very hard to use. Note1: I am purchasing a set of tiny measuring spoons, and suspect that a "drop" is about the right amount for a serving. Of course to verify that, one must have a very accurate weight scale. It would just be so much easier if a cheap plastic measuring spoon was just included. Note2: I can move the contents of the bag that is hard to re-seal to my own container. But it is not quite simple. My container must be imperviable to light, and moisture. And it may end up being glass, which is harder to fit in a small space that a bag can fit in. Why can't the manufacturer just provide a bag that simply works? Well, that is my recommendation for this product: a great deal, but a questionable choice. Read more

Hard to tell because I have been hitting the cheap sardines pretty hard. But I just take a bit on small teaspoon with some fat like heavy cream in coffee at it has a pleasant taste right off the spoon. If your egg yokes are not super orange ... this will substitute well. I am taking this for the macular health. The recommended dosage of this is very small. My multivitamin has the lutein but I didn't see zeaxanthin. This powder appears to be what it says it is. How would I know really? Anyway I am using my smallest measuring spoon (a level 1/64 tsp-a smidgen) since it does not come with a suitable scoop. I have a scale capable of measure very small amounts to determine this dosage. The bag reports to have 1000 servings so... a three year supply. Read more
