TL;DR Recommendation: Jeep Enthusiast Must-Have; Get mag mount if phone has that feature Vehicle: 2012 Wrangler Rubicon Pros: - Very, very stable (Phone does not move at all) - Aesthetic is clean - Highest quality phone mount I’ve tried by far Cons: - Initial price is higher than competition; and higher when one starts customizing (buying add-ons) - Installation requires running screws into dashboard - Base mount didn’t sit perfectly flush and didn’t come with additional material to get “perfect” flush - The holes that allow for custom placement also allow debris to fall in, makes for difficult cleaning long-term — Review. I got this for my 2012 Wrangler Rubicon (2dr), and it’s amazing. I can orient the arm to hold my phone exactly where I need it - and it stays there even after some mean pot holes! Phone pops right on and off easily with one hand. It gives my Jeep a clean look from the driver/passenger view - which makes it that much more fun to drive. My cons aren’t significant reasons to pass on this product - just my personal gripes - for me this is still a 5/5 must-have! Pros: This thing is sturdy, looks clean, and my phone does not move! My previous mount couldn’t stand the toss and tumble from driving, causing the bottom to scratch up my dash (seen in photo), and randomly hit my radio buttons. Cons: Price. Price was high - $165 for main mount and mag-mount add-on. I’m probably going to grab another mounting arm ($27), and probably the grab bar kit eventually ($60) - dropping me somewhere north of $250 pre-tax when the dust settles. Installation. Installation requires running screws into the dash, and I couldn’t get it completely flush even though some additional parts are included to help get it flush. Conclusion. I’m going to buy more products, and if I had to do it over, I’d buy it again. Though the price is higher than others, I get the feeling this product will last as long as I want it to - and does exactly what I want it to do 100%. While the installation wasn’t completely flush for me, it is very sturdy and is balanced - with the base and 4 of the 6 side points fitting snug; so mostly flush but totally solid. The product doesn’t move or feel loose, and once it’s fully assembled this isn’t noticeable - so it’s more just an initial frustration that I’ll forget about. Also, it could’ve been an error on my part. This is one of those, “Buy once, cry once” products - I’ll forget the cost and the little installation hiccups next month, but I’ll probably still be enjoying this product for years to come. The media could not be loaded. Most secure mounting system I've purchased in or out of my rig, highly recommend for those out there exploring GOD's beautiful world.✝️🌿🤙 The sturdiness and design made installation a breeze, which we all enjoy at times. Phone and GoPro fit just right where their proper holders firm and comfortable. You pay for quality, quality is Bulletpoint Mounting Solutions 💪😎🤙 Read more

I took the recommendation of hundreds of owners on the Jeep Facebook group and purchased this phone holder for my 2015 JK Wrangler. The installation was a single screw that required a 7mm socket, and took about 5 minutes from start to finish with a perfect fit. This phone holder is sturdy, high quality, and not made of cheap plastic material. There are no issues with vibration while driving and it doesn’t slip out of the holder. I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. Read more

I love the fact that it screws into the original design of the dash. It was a little tricky to tighten the bolt, but after doing so, very sturdy. The holder does not block my view nor get in the way of using my radio. It is perfectly positioned to be able to use my phone quickly and efficiently (especially hands free)…the phone holder is spring loaded, so you can easily put your phone in the holder and take it out. I would definitely buy this product again! Read more

My only complaint here is that the phone holder vibrates if you don't brace it against something (dash, radio, etc). Watching my phone bounce up and down while I drive long distances is pretty annoying. Basically I keep the phone holder section lowered down so the arm is laying on the radio. I can't say I've figured out a better way to secure it to prevent the wobble, but I haven't spent a lot of time on it. My issue is this is a premium mount/phone holder solution. I did expect more from the unit than double sided tape on the bottom before you screw it down. After purchasing this I probably wouldn't spend the money again, because I just don't feel like I got my money's worth. Not because it's cheaply made, I just think it's over priced. Read more

I recommend using some form of electric screwdriver, drill or impact gun for the screws. This will make things faster. With the top off i recently had a cheap phone mount and hand held radio stolen. Using the factory bolt in the dash along with the provided screws I don’t think this will be an issue again. This mount is solid. Locking everything in place with the provided wrench it is almost impossible to lose any of the mounting hardware. The spring retention on the phone holder is perfect fit for my 15prromax. I will have to modify the radio holder to allow for a charging cable to be plugged in as the radio is going to be permanently attached to the mount. I may add the mag safe charging system to it at a later time but this is a great system for over landing Read more
