Looks and feels great. Not for guys with huge wrists, but it looks really good on my somewhat smaller wrist. Very stylish and goes well with casual outfits, down to shorts and t-shirts, or with dressier outfits like suits. Always wanted a Bulova but had never found the right one. Almost bought this one at the mall for $140 (on sale) but I've gotten in the habit of checking Amazon before making most purchases (You're welcome, Amazon - Don't forget to add me as a line item in your advertising budget...) This watch is beautiful with a white sun-ray design on the face inside of the hour markers. The markers and hands are silver colored. The date is easily large enough to read. The second hand is NOT a sweep second hand, but tics off the seconds, which I like better. On mine it hits the markers perfectly, which is a big deal for me. Hate it when something that is supposed to be a precision instrument is "off just a bit". Can't really tell from the picture, but the bracelet is shiny on the outside edges of the links, but more of a brushed finish on the inner part of the links, making a nice contrast. Although Bulova has eliminated the classic tuning fork logo from the face of many models it IS stamped on the outside of the fold over clasp. Lastly, the bracelet was quite large. I tend to worry when buying a leather strapped watch because I frequently need the last or second last hole in the strap. I had to remove 5 links from this bracelet. I do my own sizing, and I will say that the pins were extremely tight on this watch. I actually broke the needle on my pin pusher. If I need to change it again, I'll bring it to a pro. I've had it for two weeks and have received several compliments. I'm very happy with that purchase. Read more

The watch arrived in great time (fast standard shipping) and no damages. The watch looks stylishly elegant and I got a lot of compliments with it when I wore it to a wedding and later a business meeting. It's just a couple of millimeters bigger in diameter than my old Pulsar (which still works good too) and the metal band is fairly lightweight and sturdy. The date box is easy to read and the face is nicely designed without any clutter. I strictly use this watch as a dress watch and do not go swimming or showering with it on. If you're looking for a fine dress watch that is tasteful, elegant, fashionable, and affordable, then this watch is for you. *Note - purchase a watch band link remover set from Amazon, otherwise you will need to take it to a jeweler or watch repair person to have the band adjusted. I purchased a link remover set and did the band adjustment myself in 5 minutes. The arrows on the inside of the band makes it easy to tell which direction the pins need to be pushed out and inserted back in. Read more

Good looking, good sized wrist watch. Was perfect for engraving the back as a graduation present. One thing wrong with all these analog watches is that they have a window that displays the date. This is off every other month and has to be reset! Manufacturers would be better off putting the days of the week in a window so that you don't have to manually change it all the time. Japanese quartz clock movement therefore it jumps to second ticks, not rotating smoothly, if that matters to anyone. The description on Amazon is very confusing: "water resistant to 99 feet" but you can't shower or swim with it?!? Also, when I purchased this there was a 5 year manufacturer's warranty posted on Amazon's site, though since then I'm reading 2 year Amazon warranty posted. WTF!! Even my $25 Casio's have a 5 year warranty, what's wrong with the quality of Bulova that it can't be warrantied longer? I've had this watch for over a month now and it's just a great simple practical watch. The size might be too small for bigger wrists but it fits mine perfectly. The band is comfortable and doesn't pull any of the hairs on my wrist. The time and date are very easy to adjust and they're both accurate after setting them. The dial has a nice touch of design in the middle that I believe sets it apart from all the other simple all white dial watches of this similar style. The only thing I needed to get done is taking it to a jewelry store to get it sized to the fit of my wrist and after I did that it was perfect. The date and time are easy to read, the feel of the watch itself is great around the wrist. This is a great Bulova watch and there's a good chance I'll get the black dial version sooner rather than later. Read more
