This is called Vanilla Maple, and that is the perfect name for it. It is gently vanilla, and gently maple, not the fake maple but the real stuff. This is my favorite flavor, so I hope it sticks around, even though it probably won't. I'll get as many as I can before it poofs. Burt's Bees flavors are very pleasant. They are also very moisturizing. I have problems with dry lips from an autoimmune disease, and am also sensitive to many chemicals. But I can use Burt's Bees, which I only found out a few months ago. This is so much better than what I was using before, and I have tried several flavors. Vanilla Maple is my favorite, but many others are also delightful. If limited to 1 flavor, however, this is the one I would get. It feels so good, has a wonderful flavor, and is protective against the sun, tho I have not put that to a real test. I bought this in Daisy because I saw the color when looking up a different shade on the Burt's Bees website. If I had seen the picture on this page, I never would have purchased it. Daisy isn't shimmery, and it's certainly not a warm red. I'm a Winter--cool-toned, fair skinned, dark brown hair and eyes. Any makeup that isn't a cool shade does not flatter me, to say the least. Even neutrals are too warm. I like my makeup to look natural. I also have constantly dry lips. As I wrote, I bought this because I liked the color on Burt's Bees website. When the lip balm got here, it was so dark that I checked to see if they'd sent the right one. I was unreasonably certain it was going to stain my lips mulberry, and I waited until I wasn't going anywhere to try it on. It's perfect. The color is just a hint darker than my lips, and it softens as well as the clear Burt's bees lip balm I have. I would order more here, but Amazon is out of stock. This chapstick smells so good! It’s mostly vanilla scented and then hints of maple. I wish the maple were just a little more prominent but, I do know that with my other Burt’s Bee’s chapsticks the scent is stronger on different days! So maybe after a few more uses I’ll notice the maple more! The glide of the chapstick is very smooth, almost as if it was slightly melted and goes on easier haha. But in a good way! Many of their other chapsticks are like this. Only thing I don’t love is the price. Burt’s Bee’s has always cost a little more and it’s worth it, but this is practically double the normal price.
