The only ChapStick I use and recommend to others. The elderberry flavor is so yummy and smooth on the lips. I have noticed my lips heal much faster in the winter against the cold air using this. Hard to find in store but always in stock online. Read more

Never thought I'd be leaving a review for something so simple as chapstick, but this stuff is great! I've been using Vaseline Lip Therapy in the little tube for a couple years when I had desperately chapped lips that needed to be healed (constant cracking and bleeding), and they've since healed up nicely and I wanted to give Burt's Bees a try again. I've tried their balms in the past, and they are nice, but way back when didn't help with majorly damaged lips. Normally the Vaseline is gone off my lips super fast, but this Burt's Bees one stays on for quite a while! I do reapply often, but not near as much as I had to before. It leaves a nice waxy coating, with a cooling effect that is really refreshing. There's also turmeric in it, which is great for inflammation. (For reference, I have difficulty breathing through my nose, therefore my lips are often dried out from mouth-breathing). Pros: - Smells great and refreshing - Has given my lips a wonderful plump texture, without being "wet" looking, just nice and hydrated. - Has helped with the texture a lot, and very soothing (though if "minty" feeling products irritate your lips, you may want to avoid this) - Fairly affordable, and tube #1 still going strong (edit: immediately after writing this review, the price went up $2? It was a little over $6 when I purchased...) - Tastes nice (except one part, see below) Cons: - The turmeric, while does provide benefits, I have noticed that there is occasionally an orange-tint on the edges of my lips where it meets the skin. It's mild and doesn't happen all the time, and you probably won't notice it unless your very fair-skinned, like me! - The turmeric (again), this is minor and I actually don't mind it, but turmeric tastes pretty "earthy", like well, dirt! And for me it's not a bad taste, but I wanted to mention it in case others might dislike it. Overall, I recommend! If your lips are mostly healed/healing I think this is a great balm, but if they're cracked and bleeding you may want to use Vaseline lip therapy until they're healed up, and then use a nice balm like this after :) Read more

I bought this years ago when my lips were horribly cracked and it helped heal them so quickly! I don't use anything else now and haven't had cracked lips in forever! Read more

This balm works fast on dry or chapped lips. It’s thick enough to coat well without feeling greasy, and it lasts longer than most natural lip balms. I use it at night and wake up with soft, moisturized lips. Read more

Got it for my boyfriend bc it's his favorite and he is always losing his. He likes it as much as a guy would like chapstick. But his lips look way softer now! Read more

It kind of tastes very earthy and dirt like. Not my favorite. Read more
