The flavor is vaguely sweet with notes of fruit and nuts. Though I like the color (a phenolic anthocyanine similar to blueberry or pomegranate), I'm not obsessed with with this aspect the way most youtubers are. I find 1/4 teaspoon of powder in hot (but not boiling) water makes a nice tea that I can drink without worrying about any caffeine. Read more
So fun to mix this and then add citrus to change the color. I purchased due to reading about how pea flower has antioxidants and has been studied for ability to help protect skin against premature aging and help fight against internal inflammation etc. The packaging is good and so far I am really enjoying adding to smoothies or to make fun color beverages. I'm going to try making a version of Blue Moon Milk tonight using frothed cashew milk and honey with a sprinkle of lavender buds. Cheers! Read more
