This is a somewhat deceptive item: very cute, but also very powerful. The vibration from this is quite strong, and there are 10 vibration patterns to choose from, selectable by repeatedly pressing the power button after it's been turned on (a few secs hold to power both on and off). The vibration is so powerful that if you stand this up with just the stick supported, and the end of the stick resting on a smooth surface, the entire lollipop will start spinning very, very rapidly--just FYI in case you get bored, but you won't because this thing is actually kinda awesome with the combination of cuteness and power. The vibration isn't targeted, so you really feel it throughout the entire lolli, including the stick, which can be a positive if you choose to use it that way...or a detriment that could have your hand going numb as you work it...really depends on you. There are ridges around the ball end of this, though that add a little bit of extra interest. Any part of the ball end of this will give you the same vibrational intensity (varies with the chosen vibration pattern, of course). Also, FYI, this is not waterproof, just water-resistant, so it can handle showers and being washed off, but it should not be fully submerged like in a bathtub or pool situation. All in all, the coloration is nice, the ridges are nice, the vibration patterns are decent, and vibration overall is strong. I would say the design is quite good and fun, too, clearly. The stick does vibrate and is skinny like a regular lollipop stick, so it may not be a great grip given the strength of the vibration and your desire to use it to press and manipulate the device around your personal spaces--I do have some concerns about durability--bending, etc--over time, but so far it's been fine and working well. There's obviously a novelty effect here that brings a lot of fun to it and adds some value, much like this brand's other novelty toys. Given that, the overall build quality and design, and the power of the vibration, I would say the price of $24 at the time I ordered ($23 as I type this review) is worth it. If you're just looking for something that's powerful and more basic, you could get the same power and value out of something at half this price or even a bit less.
