This pen is most versatile accepting a number of refills. Read more
I’m giving 2 stars because it writes okay but for sure it looks and feels goofy up close. This is a thirty dollar value pen only and NOT WORTH THE PRICE Read more
Ten-sided pen has a comfortable grip and a pleasing G2 mini refill. Finish and balance are good. Magnetic cap does not post securely. Manual cap to body alignment consistently needed. A stronger magnet would help solve the posting experience. Carry this pen in a sleeve if pocketing. Read more
love it, use almost any refill and feels good too to hold, and looks cool Read more
Tried Parker and Fisher space pen refills, neither fit, grip sucks just a bad pen overall for the price Read more
This pen has a lot of cool things going for it, the construction is all very high quality and robust, the notched design similar to a pencil so it doesn’t roll away, the perfect sizing so you can fit it in your pocket without even feeling that it’s there, and the fact that you can fit (or modify to fit) a lot of ink cartridges so you can use your favorites are all great qualities. The magnetic design of the cap is very cool and even provides a fidget factor, and the way the cap is designed to tighten the collet perfectly is a very cool feature, rather than needing some kind of external tool. However there are a few flaws that I had to address that I feel can be improved upon. The first and most obvious issue is that the cutout design so you can see the cartridge inside makes the pen very uncomfortable to use for more than just a few minutes. The edges want to dig into your hand and fingers and even if you spin it around so you’re not touching those areas as much you still feel them somewhere else on your hand, and it’s just more of an annoyance than anything else. My solution was to buy some marine shrink tubing and heat that around the body of the pen to give it a smooth surface, with no cutouts that can be felt. I really wish I could have found some clear marine shrink tubing to try to keep some of the original design, since it is cool that you can look into the pen and see what cartridge is in there while using it, however I’d rather it be comfortable than keep that original design. The next issue I ran into was that most of the ink cartridges I wanted to use with the pen were just a bit too long to fit into the body and allow the collet to fully seat into the end of the shaft. I was able to mitigate this by cutting some of my favorite cartridges down a bit with a knife, however a lot of cartridges cannot be cut down without the ink being compromised so this solution will only work for a limited amount of cartridges. I am very happy that a fisher space cartridge fits perfectly with this model, but I’m assuming since this is the mini model that most cartridges that will fit the full size will need to be modified to suit this model, or just simply won’t work with this model. Another thing I had to address was the small gold logo on the top of the cap. It kept coming loose and working it’s way back out of the cap, which wouldn’t be such a big deal accept for the fact that it is holding the magnet inside the cap to make that feature work. If the gold logo were to be lost or fall out the magnet would as well and then the cap would have no magnetic pull towards the pen any longer. My solution for this was to simply back the logo out all of the way, apply some thread locker, and then replace the logo back into the cap. So far this has fixed that issue and there are no longer any rattles or loose sounding parts to the pen. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I like everything about this devise, except maybe the price. I'm not clear on why it costs $90. It's not well described on the item's page and there are no real instructions, so it took me a while to understand the point. It's not that it comes with 100 refills, and the company doesn't even seem to sell any refill replacements. At least I couldn't find any. The point is that you can insert basically any pen refill into this pen body. The top is like a little clamp, sort of like a drill bit clamp on a drill, but you insert from the back instead of the front. You unscrew the front and you push the pen refill through until it grabs, then you screw it back on. See attached video. Why would anybody want this? Well, as you can see in my video, I swapped out the inside that it came with with a high end Parker. Now I have a functioning Parker without having to buy an expensive pen. You might say well, this pen is also expensive. But I can swap out the Parker with a Mont Blanc just as easily. So with this one devise, I basically have a Parker and a Mont Blanc, for the cost of the two refills. So when they say works with 100 refills, they mean 100 different styles/types/brands. So this pen basically acts as 100 different pens, all you need are the refills. I guess it has grown on me and I'm going to use it. I do like the solid metal feel of it and how the tip is magnetic. I'm not sure I'd ever give one of these as a gift because I doubt the recipient would imagine it costs as much as it does. Based on this I contemplated giving it less than five stars. But in the end I decided it's a worthy little doohickey. Read more
