This watch band has been the savior of smart watches, for my sensitive skin! The silicone band that came with the Garmin (and FitBit, for that matter) gave me sores and even scars from the wear on my wrist. This band is extremely adjustable, so the fit is just right for me, and causes no more sores and peeling skin. It's soft enough and comfortable enough to sleep in, and it's low-profile enough that it doesn't interfere with my living attached to a computer keyboard. It's pretty easy to install, but if you have limited dexterity in your hands or fingers it might be helpful to get assistance switching out the bands. (Those screws are so tiny!) With the tool included, it was easy and quick to change bands, and they've held tight through 24/7 wear and use. After getting wet, the band dries faster than I expected, which is definitely a bonus when I don't want to take it off and wait for it to dry. The red of the band I chose is a more muted classic red. I wish it had been more crimson or a darker red, but it is a handsome looking band. Might go back and get a few other colors, to keep up with my wardrobe. :) 10/10, would recommend! Read more

I have a tendency to get a rash on my wrist from metal or rubber wrist bands. This nylon band has not caused a single issue in the months that I have had it on. It is comfortable and easy to use. I have a large wrist and the large size fits very well. My only compliant might be that when taking it off or putting it on, I do have to completely separate the one side because my hand will not fit through it easily while the end of the band is still tucked into the watch. It's still easily taken off and on. I only wish the watch hadn't stopped communicating with my phone. Read more

Fairly easy to install; fastens with four Velcro tabs that I hope will last. Itβs comfortable and easy to adjust, and the fabric of the band is definitely likely to endure better than the original silicon band. Read more

I cannot give an honest rating on durability at this point because I've been wearing it for less than a week. It is VERY comfortable. Looks great. Doesn't cause the skin breakout issue I had with the original band on my Garmin. And it was so easy to 'install' that I was worried I'd not done it correctly. The owner of a local jeweler was kind enough to check it for me - YEP, it's really that easy. There is a YouTube video that shows how simple changing the band is. Read more

I found the original VivoActive band was irritating me. This one is not silicone. The installation equipment, especially the special screws and little C clamp make installation a breeze. Took less that two minutes for each side. The directions are terrible, but the process is intuitive. The band is very comfortable, but it has only been on the watch for two days. I am anxious to feel if it is as comfortable after it gets wet from sweat. Read more

I'm changing the content of my review. This is a very comfortable band, and the design is great for putting it on and removing it, but I would exercise caution when wearing it in certain conditions, specifically the ocean in rough surf, or even water sports, like air chair, wakeboarding, or any activity where you might find yourself tumbling on the water or into the sand. That's how I donated my Garmin to King Neptune, courtesy of some pretty rough sure in Rio De Janeiro. Next time I'll remove my watch or swap out the band with a traditional nylon band. One last positive point, the tool CD2Joy provides to remove and install the new band is awesome! It removes the need to find that tiny jeweler screwdriver in your junk drawer and makes the whole removal/installation process a breeze. In spite of losing my watch due to a lack of common sense and understanding the limitations of the clap, I'm going to give this watchband another shot because I really did enjoy the comfort, ease of use, and it looks pretty nice as well. I changed my review from 1 star to 3 because I should have taken the watch off or swapped bands before having a blast in the Atlantic during a vacation to Rio. Hopefully, my edited review will help reduce the risk of someone losing their valuable wearable device, rather than providing King Neptune a nice Garmin to track his water treadmill activities. I seemed to have an allergic reaction to the stock band that came with my Garmin, tried various nylon bands in the past that I got about a year of use out of before needing to replace them. This band is awesome; itβs light weight, breathable, and dries quickly. I was a little worried about the Velcro closure, but it is surprisingly durable. I put this thing through a ton of abuse at work and it has yet to come undone accidentally. If this ever wears out I will definitely buy another one. Read more

Finally, I can wear my Garmin vHR! The band it came with was so uncomfortable I couldn't wear it all the time. I took my time choosing a new band and I choose well. It's a really great fit, comfy, soft material. I chose this material over metal bc the metal bands interfere with the watch's internal compass. The tool it came with is amazing! Husband used it to change out the band on his smart watch which is a different brand. The band seems pretty durable. I will edit this review if it falls apart. I'm actually considering buying another band in a different color. Highly recommend. Read more
