Good quality cables. They taught me a lesson. For all users out there reading this, consider cleaning the usb c port on your phone. This was the only cable that worked with my dirty usb c phone port, but after I thoroughly cleaned it, all my cables worked. How many of you have ever cleaned the usb c port on your phone? I don’t like braided cables, but they seem all the rage and there aren’t a whole lot of options for those of us. Coincidentally, these turned out to be some of the best USB-A to USB-C cables I came across, braided or not. They are true 1.6ft, USB-C compliant, and have consistently low resistance, across a bunch that I’ve tested - see representative photos. There are several reviews that complained about thickness and stiffness, including even a “warm tip” blurb in the product description, but I did not find that. The thickness is pretty average and if anything the cables are very pliable. One thing I did notice is that the jacket feels more “rubbery”, possibly TPE. Could be a manufacturing revision. The cables are priced dearly and at that price I would fully expect them to have USB-IF certification, but they don’t. CableCreation company has been around for awhile, and seemingly cares about their brand image. If so, they should consider publishing a proper product brief instead of a word salad customarily found on Amazon. E.g. instead of saying “thick”, “stiff”, “flexible” etc, the description should specify the wire gauge and the jacket material composition. Until then - 4 stars. Read more

I knew I was getting poor transfer rates with a USB 3 hub - at 39mbps, something was wrong. I was hoping to improve my transfer speeds with this cable, and I did. But I didn't expect to have speeds 100 times better than I was getting with other cables I tried, but it's true. From my USB SSD to internal drives, I am seeing speeds in excess of 400 MB/s, and from internal drives to my USB SSD, over 300 MB/s. That made a potentially 2 day transfer at the old speeds into 15 minutes. Anything that saves you that much time is worth paying for. Well worth the cost. Read more

Perfection! This Data Cable revived my truck's info-tainment system. All of the old problems are gone. Clean, stable connection w/o pesky disconnects on bumps. Also Android Auto is displaying more options that were hidden by my old charging cables. My rider is a 2022 SR5 Tacoma pickem'up. Recently, after plugging my phone into the standard USB-to-Type-C cable I'd been using and... nothing. The truck's screen showed the error "Phone cannot be recognized". I changed cables. Same error. I swapped out the USB port on the dash. Still nothing. Hmmmm. hello, Google??? Found I needed a DATA CABLE in order to use Android Auto. Duh. This cable is the BEST for Android Auto connections. You need it for reliable listening (Podcasts, music, etc.), plus Google Maps/navigation. I wish I'd looked into this months ago. Highly recommended. Read more

Cable does what it says. What it does NOT say is that the cable is VERY rigid, which normally wouldn't be a problem, but the usb-c male connector doesn't seem to sit firmly in the device I plug it. This means that sometimes I'll plug in a device and then move it slightly only to realize the cable disconnected. I would NOT buy this again. Read more
