This product was extremely helping when drying up my breast milk supply. It was very soothing and much better than using cold cabbage leaves as they didn’t welt and leave my bra moist after 15-30 minutes. I was going through hell prior to using this when I became engorged during the process when I would give up on my attempting of drying my milk but this was a game changer. After my baby passed away, I got some trial packets of this in the hospital to help me stop producing milk. I went ahead and ordered this to help, but actually didn't have to use a lot of it because it was very quick. I didn't experience pain or get mastitis after stopping so quickly. I think it took me a week to wean off. It was easy to apply, smells nice, and also isn't in packaging that is really advertised "for moms" like many other products are after loss. I rarely leave bad reviews being a small business owner myself. So when I do it’s because I truly feel scammed or taken advantage and knowingly ripped off. To start, I am SUPER disappointed in this product. First and foremost… for how ridiculously expensive this cream is .. you get the smallest bottle. And the comments saying “ I didn’t even need to use the whole bottle “ honestly are extremely suspicious to me. Maybe it’s because I have size DD breasts, but there is no way this lasted anyone with a bigger chest . Secondly , I have been breastfeeding for almost 3 years, and I started to wean. This did not help what so ever. Applied every 3/4 hours like it says on the label. Still got clogged ducts , and started to get mastitis. I ran out within 2.5 days. It’s a very tiny bottle . And mind you, I only really applied it mostly on my left breast because I have one of those babies that only fed on one boob. And that was the breast that got inflamed and infected. So I didn’t need to apply much to the other breast and I still ran out that fast!! Anyone who knows the process of weaning or even cold turkey stopping… it’s a lot longer than 2.5 days! I genuinely feel scammed by this. I have been through this process with my other child so I’m not new to this and took all of the other precautions like taking behind the counter Sudafed, massaging , express only a little if having discomfort and too full but not enough to make your body drop and produce more (taking a hot shower to have it express milk on its own instead of manual hand expression to stimulate the nipple ) , heating pad on breasts, ice packs, cold cabbage leaves. Honestly don’t waste $40 on this . Even if it was $15 (which would be a much more appropriate price point ) , it still a waste because it’s such little product and it simply doesn’t work. You’re better off paying a couple dollars for fresh cabbage head and sticking the leaves in your bra than this stuff. And the fresh cabbage would last longer than this stuff! I think it really helped me dry up my supply. I applied it religiously for three days while wearing sports bras and cutting down on pumping. It smells good! My only major complaint is the price. $40 for two ounces is pretty ridiculous! I was desperate to stop pumping so I paid it. It was gone within four days though. Took me 5 weeks to wean and felt this product helped to support that. It provided some relief in the engorgement pain. Never tried cabbage leaves but this was a better alternative to use that smelled nice, wasn’t messy and was moisturizing. Pricey for the amount that you get. Ended up buying 3 bottles and really hard to get the last bits out. Wouldn’t say it’s absolutely necessary to get, but I was desperate and it was nice to have even for the placebo effect. Read more
