I got these recently and absolutely love them! When I pulled them out of the package for the first time, the quality surprised me. The tapered edge is seamless yet sturdy. I’ve had covers that felt like they were going to disintegrate the first time I wore them, but you can tell these are made with a good material. They’re non-irritating, and they held up even after wearing them to the gym for two hours. They don’t have any adhesive on them so you probably wouldn’t be able to wear them with a loose dress or top, but they’re perfect for form fitting tops and sports bras. The pads do eventually stick more as they heat up, though, regardless of how much sweat there is. I’m a C cup and I got the originals, and they are the perfect size! I’ve gotten covers before that make my chest look like cones sticking out of my bra, but these sit comfortably and take the form of my chest perfectly. I wear these every single day!!! I don’t wear a bra anymore. I just stick these in my workout tops, bralettes and have great coverage and shape. Just don’t wear under anything loose fitting as these don’t have adhesive. They’re gentle on the skin and I love that they don’t have adhesive. Read more

I purchased this pair for a friend as I own every size of the Cakes Body Grippy Circle. There is a reason you see this product everywhere - it’s fantastic. They’re super easy to apply and comfortable for all day wear. I wear them under thin bralettes, bodysuits, and sundresses and love the coverage I get without any extra weight or bulk. I'll be clear that I gave these a neutral-ish rating because I ordered the wrong style for my needs and breast shape. So, I can positively review the make of the product, but not the effectiveness. Just make sure you review the CAKES website and pick the shape and functionality that will work best for you. I have teardrop-shaped pancake breasts that are thin due to extreme weight loss from gastric bypass surgery. I should have picked the "sticky" CAKES in the triangle shape. The "grippy" option does not have any adhesive elements on the pads that stick to your skin and provide lift/coverage. Instead, the grippy option relies on body heat to stick to your skin in a non-adhesive way; meaning they're easy to pull off and don't stick on their own. I can use them if I'm wearing a shapewear shirt that is fitted and will hold them in place; otherwise, they will move around under my shirt. (Again, this would not be an issue if your breasts have a rounder natural shape and are perkier than mine.) They aren't super thick, so they aren't noticeable through an undershirt or thin bra. That's a huge win for women who don't want shapewear to be visible when wearing tighter clothes - you just cannot see them. They're lightweight, so they don't pull your breast down or make you feel like you're carrying extra weight (not additional back pain!). And they're clearly well made; these will not rip or tear easily! 10/10 on the product quality. 1/10 on my ability to understand what I actually needed before ordering. These adhere nicely in my sports bra and do the trick. I don't even feel them at all. They are invisible under my shirts. I wash them with gentle, unscented soap weekly and they are ready to do their job. I love them! Read more

Let’s get some caveats out of the way: These will not work for EVERY body, skin type, or breast shape. They are not adhesive, and take some serious experimentation and practice to figure out how to best use them. I have relatively averaged sized boobs that are highly projected, and these work amazing for me. I use their OG size, and have a 42in diameter chest, probably the volume of a large apple or small grapefruit. Once I have properly placed these, they stay on indefinitely for me. Some people I know have to use them with tight fitting tops, but that has not been my experience. In general, I find them pretty comfortable and wearable, which is huge for me because I’ve gotten aggressive rashes from other sticky bras. They are pretty much infinitely reusable, and so easy to clean (just a little light soap and water). The color match isn’t a concern for me, but I got the lightest color. I’m very pale, (Fitzpatrick 2) and they are a little darker than my skin. They barely show under my clothes (only extremely lightweight fabrics) and even provide a subtle lift and rounding to my chest shape. If I had one gripe, it’s that they have a slight etching of their brand name on the inside of the cup, which leaves a little temporary mark on the skin on the shape of their name when you take the cakes off.
