Would have given it 5-stars except, I deducted as there are no safety measures to prevent tampering. and no expiration date, no lot number, no manufacture date. Overall, the balm is very easy to apply and non-greasy. CON: * box is not cellophane wrapped * box has no adhesive tape or strip to know if box is opened * no vacuum seal over jar all these measures would prevent tampering * box or jar has no marking of lot number/batch number or manufacture date or expiration date PRO It seems there are few ingredients, and all are listed online. In the past I have tried a calendula oil and it had a very off-putting scent, I don't find the scent to be offensive or strong I truly am not a fan of lavender and am very happy that the scent is mild. I think the price point is affordable (just under $6) for a soothing ointment. At this time I do not have any itching or dry patches or particular areas needing special "attention" I think this would be nice after a sunburn, windburn, or used as a night lip balm. I'm ok with plastic jars. I actually prefer NOT to have glass jars in my bathroom (just prior experience of a jar dropping and glass shards everywhere, and with plastic I don't have to worry) Providing a small scoop would have been nice. But one will be needed, especially when getting into the middle and bottom of the jar, the back of my fingernail scoop can get me only so far I like the ingredients. this would be great for dry hands and dry callus heels.
