It’s clean, straightforward, and exactly what I want in a plant-based milk. On the other hand, the regular version is not certified organic and may contain additional ingredients, though it’s still a great option for those who don’t mind a few extra additives. One thing I really appreciate is that Califia Farms almond milk is carrageenan-free. Carrageenan is an ingredient some people are concerned about due to potential digestive issues, and I’ve been careful to avoid it in my plant-based milks. Califia Farms makes it easy by leaving it out of their products, which gives me peace of mind. I will pay it because this is the best milk I’ve ever had. I was a huge milk drinker as a kid and i would have loved this. It’s perfect for cereal or coffee but not overly sweet (notice non-sweet). As an adult, and especially after going vegan, I used milk to cook or make creamer etc but not drink out of the glass. And for cereal, but other vegan mills didn’t cut it. I actually enjoy eating cereal again bc of this brand. I buy the regular unsweetened almond for normal things, this flavor for the cereal. Now I see a creamer (maybe more, but Cookie Butter DELICIOUS) and some extra creamy which I bought but haven’t yet tried. I LOVE this brand and very brand loyal when they meet certain requirements. Ethics is one (check) Flavor (check) so yeah, price has sky rocketed since I started buying them (I remember when I could get sales 2/$5) but hey-I will pay it. They’re THAT good! Read more
