California Design Den Flannel Extra Deep Pocket King Sheet Set - Made in Portugal 100 Cotton Triple-Brushed Substantial

I am so grateful to have received my very first set of flannel sheets from California Design Den! I have wanted to try flannel sheets my whole life, but have always lived in tropical climates until this year. Now I live in the Northeast where it is very very cold this time of year. When I saw these flannel sheets, I saw my new geography combine with my lifelong desire to try flannel sheets! The result is here and it is outstanding! I don't know if all flannel sheets are like this or not, but these brushed Portuguese cotton sheets are the softest sheets to which I have ever laid hand! They are the epitome of luxury and warmth. There is a note on the sheets that states to unlock the softness you should wash before use. While you should always wash sheets before your first use, I can tell you that before I washed them they were already incredibly soft! Washing them did indeed only make them softer! They are 100% cotton, and truly an outstanding fabric. I have a queen size bed, and these sheets fit perfectly! The pockets are deep and generous and certainly should fit any queen size bed. There is elastic all around the fitted sheet which I love. The fitted sheet, flat sheet and two pillow cases are a perfect set! The purchase price is outstanding! I have paid three times this for sheets way less gorgeous. I have several purchases from California Design Den, and have yet to be disappointed with anything I have ever ordered or purchased from them. I don't understand why the price for these sheets is so low, but I can tell you that the quality far surpasses the purchase price. If you need flannel sheets for your home, you must try these! If you're thinking about purchasing these sheets, do not hesitate! I can only speak for the off-white color that I received and they are lovely. I cannot wait to purchase these in more colors! California Design Den are one of my favorite sheet brands - we have a lot of houseguests/guest rooms and our linen closet is full of their white sateen sheet sets and duvets, which are super lux and wear and launder beautifully. In the past, I've never been a huge fan of flannel sheets - but when I saw these I had to try them, and I'm glad I did. The color I got is a really pretty ivory/ecru that feels visually warm and inviting. First off, spending half the year in the Northeast and experiencing a Lake Belt winter has given me a new appreciation for all things cozy and warm, and these sheets are both. They are smooth, with a soft nap, and they soften up even more after washing. They're not overly thick and fuzzy like flannel sheets I've slept on before, but instead beautifully woven and refined. The fitted sheet has the same deep pockets as the sateen ones, which are great because you can use it with thick mattresses - or a Purple mattress in our case, that has a lot of movement, and the sheets don't come free. Time will tell how they wear, but our other CDD sheets have held up amazingly in rotation for several years, so I have high hopes.
