I firdt thought that maybe it would be uncomfortable because of the squares but l was wrong it is very comfortable and l even feel it has helped with my lower back pain. Pad appears to be very well made. It fits very well on our mattress. The pockets are deep and fit so that they curve under the corners and do not ride up over time. Don’t hesitate to buy these. I’ve been making numerous beds for 64 years for my family and have never, never found mattress protectors as nice as these. They are waterproof, nice thickness and the sides that fit around the sides of the mattress are not that cheap see through material you usually find on mattress pads. It is very nice weight and should last a very long time. I washed these before use and they came out of the dryer like brand new and yes , the price was unbelievably realistic for these.
