I've had Callaway golf bags for a long time. I bought this one to replace an older Callaway bag that provided good use but eventually started giving out after 12 years of heavy use. The new bag is the usual high quality I expect from Callaway. Very lightweight yet sturdy. Lots of space for gear if you choose to add additional wieght to the bag, like a lightweight windbreaker, cap, valuables and ancillary stuff beyond the usual extra balls, tees, gloves and divot tool. The plastic coating around the perimeter of the top of each bag slot is a great idea to protect the golf shafts from getting grooved and cut (this happened to my driver shaft). I put tape around the new driver shaft at the point where it contacts the rim of the bag to prevent such cutting. But now with the soft plastic rim around each club slot, I don't have to apply any tape to protect the shaft. Leave it to Callaway to come up with great ideas. The foldout legs are easy to extend and retract. The bag is stable when the legs are extended. The carry straps fit well, can be adjusted as needed over time, and are comfortable. And the bag is super light. That is very important to me because I carry the bag. I try to minimize what I put in the bag to keep it light, but this bag easily holds a full set of clubs. And as stated above, it has lots of easy access pockets to store lots of stuff you may need, depending on the weather and other conditions and personal preferences. If I could give this bag a higher rating than 5, I would. Spend the few extra dollars to get a Callaway bag and you'll be extremely happy with the bag for many many years of use. The bag arrived as advertised in good condition. Well packed. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, but the main selling point is how incredibly light it is. I made my decision based on Callaways web site and not the description on Amazon. It said it was 5 pounds when clearly it is not. Less than 3 pounds is more accurate. Good quality throughout, coming out of the box ready for clubs and a round. The pockets are plenty big enough for rain gear, balls, tees and personal items. There is even a pocket for a water/beverage bottle and one for a range finder. Nice. I would, without question, buy this bag again. Read more

This is my 2nd or 3rd Callaway Zero bag and the zippers just suck! Some jump the track and others begin separating from the bag where they are sewn in. The new water bottle netting is also a step in the wrong direction. The old pocket had straight sides and would easily hold a 1 liter water bottle, a Gatorade, or an extra beer. The new bag has cheap elastic netting and you can’t easily slip a skinny water bottle in with one hand — certainly not while walking down the fairway carrying your clubs. All the pockets are smaller. The valuable pocket is probably a he only one that improved. The new stand trigger at the bottom of the back may be sturdier/easier to deploy the legs, but it makes the bag shift around a lot when you ride a cart. If you want the lightest carry bag — this is it. It’s too expensive for the quality. I play 50-75 rounds a year and something will be screwed up after one season and I can limp it another. Meanwhile I have some old Sun Mountain bags that are 20 years old and good as new (just sun faded). Read more
