First of all, this is a beautiful shirt. It has a very small pitch pinstripe which is very subtle and can only be seen on close inspection. It's a nice detail that looks really good. It also has a slight sheen to it that gives it a nice look over what would be a plain grey shirt. The shirt feels put together well and of very high quality. My only qualm with the shirt is that it definitely is not slim fit. I ordered a 32/33, 16-1/2" shirt and have 42" shoulders and a 33" waist. I have found there is a fair amount of loose material around the midsection, which is slightly disappointing. I would put this shirt about halfway in between a true slim fit shirt and a regular fit shirt. For me, this wasn't a complete dealbreaker, but it is something to consider before ordering. Read more

I got this shirt because I'd grown out of the dress shirt I used in my teen years, the sleeves were too short in it. This shirt's material is comfortable and great looking both up close and at a distance. I like the fact that it does not have a breast pocket as it clutters the appearance of a dress shirt and it is unnecessary since slacks and jackets already have many pockets. The collar comes right out of the package reasonably stiff, but could probably be ironed or starched even stiffer if you prefer. The fit seems to run true to size, if anything the neck might be a little larger than what I'm used to, but I ordered a size larger because my last shirt's neck was way too tight. In any case it's not too big to fit, but if you have a size shirt you traditionally wear, stick with your known size. The slim fit is very nice for people with a normal body shape or who want a more modern look, as for me I'm very thin and would probably go with the fitted option if I could do it a second time just because even slim looks just a bit blocky on my thin frame, but that said, I am satisfied with what I got. I definitely do not regret the purchase, and will keep Calvin Klein in mind for all future formal/semi-formal purchases. Read more

I give four stars but subtracted three stars for the condition of the shirt. I bought two CK shirts a blue and a purple, the blue shirt is new and the purple one in this review is a poorly repackaged/used shirt all wrinkled up and seemed to be missing tags. I understand people need to try on shirts and return them when they are not right, but I would hope a returned dress shirt is refolded nicely and resold as a returned item instead of a brand-new item. Just be aware you might end up with a poorly repacked/used wrinkled up dress shirt as well. I have an athletic build and like to wear the middle cut for dress shirts, which depending on the brand the middle cut is labeled athletic, tailored or slim (if the brand has extra slim cut), CK shirts use the slim label. The shirt material is 100% cotton and seems to have a slight sheen, for some reason it is getting harder to find cotton shirts which I feel breath better than cotton/polyester blends. I like the cut, but I feel CK should have given a fraction more room around the back and arms for their middle cut. Read more
