Don’t open up the whole shirt to try on! For those who haven’t bought a dress shirt, a few things. Sizes are mainly done with neck size, arm length and fit (regular, slim fit, etc). Right when you get the shirt, remove the plastic inside the neck area. With some help, put that around your neck and lock it in. Try to get 2 fingers in there and remember what slot you selected and remove. Most plastics will have a 6, 7, 8 engraved. If it’s a 6, your neck size is a 16, if 7, you’re a 17. If it’s mid way, it’s a half up from the lowest number. If that doesn’t match up with your shirt you purchased, you’re done. Don’t try on the shirt. Arm lengths are a little bit more tricky, but if you’re 5’8 or shorter, try to go with a 32/33, if slightly taller go with 34,35. These are a little bit more tricky. And for fit - be honest with yourself. If you’re dressing up, you probably want to be comfortable. If you have a little bit more weight, go with a regular fit, if you’re in between, slim is slightly tailored. I’ve been wearing dress shirts for a long time, and know my exact shirt size now, but most people have never been explained the sizing. Oh yea! Bought this shirt for a funeral. Calvin Klein dress shirts have always been of good construction and fit for me. The name Calvin Klein alone brings comfort knowing I am no wearing a cheap dress shirt. I like wearing slim fit dress shirts because they fit my body type better, and the shirt looks sharper and finer rather than baggy, spacey and with too much excess material. I have always felt that the Calvin Klein dress shirts are thicker than other brands I've purchased similar in type, color and cost. Lighter colors especially white, it looks funny when the dress shirt is basically see through and seeing the undershirt standout is not a great look. The Calvin Klein dress shirts I've found does a great job with that problem. Calvin Klein dress shirts cost more, but you get quality along with comfort and a good cut and design which makes one feel good. You get what you pay for, so buying a cheap dress shirt you probably will get a very thin, poorly cut and fitting dress shirt. I recommend Calvin Klein dress shirts. And, the slim fit dress shirts are my go to dress shirts from their line. Getting a Calvin Klein dress shirt I feel eliminates those issues I find buying cheaper brands, and I also know the name Calvin Klein so that makes me feel good that I paid for something that has quality in the brand name. I received a dirty used shirt! The collar was dirty and the cuffs were also dirty. It came in a wrinkle ball in a plastic bag. The sleeves were totally wrinkled like it was just worn the night before. I was disgusted. I made a complaint and nothing came if it. Beware buyers!!!!! Read more
