Overall these are nice and comfortable. As trunks should do, they have a clearly separate pouch and a high crotch. They are not as low as other low rise trunks I've worn, so they do roll a bit at the top, but only a little. Two things about these are very puzzling. They are sized too loosely by quite a bit. I had to send the first ones back because it was clear they were going to be far too big. I ordered a size down and they fir snugly as trunks are supposed to do. The other head scratcher (and perhaps scratcher in general) is that they sewed two massive paper tags into these. WHAT THE ? I will cut them out, and hopefully the cut edge doesnt irritate.
