The dress is very pretty. The fabric is smooth and soft and stretchy. It's well made and the zipper runs easily. It has a good weight to the fabric though I wish it was lined all the way down to the hem. It's not uncomfortably see through but is a touch sheer. I ordered the 8 which is my usual size and fits my dimensions according to the size chart. However, I feel like this fits more like a 10. The waist area has lots of extra room on me. So I probably could have sized down as it runs large. If you are between sizes and like a more fitted dress, I would order down a size. It's currently listed at $82. That seems a bit steep for an unlined, polyester/spandex garment but I suppose you pay for the brand name. I still like it. You just need to get the right size for the fit you like. Read more

This is such a sleeper hit of a dress! I always get fantastic quality when I shop Calvin Klein, so it was no surprise that this dress has thick, high quality fabric and well stitched hems and edges. It’s also ridiculously comfortable and looks so refined and elegant, I didn’t expect it to wear so well, but it has a bit of give to the fabric so it moves extremely well and is easy to wear all day with no fuss. The fabric looks like silk from a distance because of the beautiful delicate print, but is nice and thick has almost a foam texture, so it’s lighter weight than it looks and feels wonderfully smooth against my skin. This dress fits true to size. I’m normally a 4-6 depending on the cut of the dress and I feel like either would’ve worked well because the dress has some give and a little stretch to it. I like that it hugs my curves but not so closely at a size 6 that it’s too tight. I can sit comfortably for hours at the office with no issues. The fabric is smooth, so you could easily pair this with a bolero or cropped cardigan if you want your arms covered. I’d just say to keep the colors light or neutral so as not to distract from the beautiful print, which is really the star here. My only slight concern is the back zipper. It’s a hidden zipper that is strong and well stitched, but for some reason feels like it catches on the fabric the whole way down when unzipping it on the hanger. It doesn’t actually catch the fabric, but it seems to fight me the whole way down, but there were no pulls on the fabric afterwards. It was odd and I expected to not be able to get the dress zipped back up by myself once I had the dress on. But going back up, the zipper was smooth as butter! Something about having the garment actually on my body helped it lay correctly and made the zipper perform flawlessly, so just give it some extra care when unzipping on the hanger I guess. This dress will be a staple of my office attire now, but would also look gorgeous styled up with nice jewelry and an updo for a night out. It has definite possibilities and versatility. That combined with the outstanding quality I’ve come to expect from the brand makes this dress absolutely worth the designer price point.
