Had no idea it would smell so BAD.

I couldn't find any other reviews talking about this, but this mat smells absolutely horrible. The packaging says to unroll and let vent for 1-2 days before using, but oh my GOD is it bad. Being in a small apartment with one main room and two bedrooms, there isn't anywhere comfortably away from everyone to let the mat air out, and even with a candle lit all I can smell is an awful rubber tire scent. The quality feels fine which is what I bought it for, but I don't even want to go near the thing. Read more

The strong odor

This mat had a very strong chemical smell when first opened. I sprayed it lightly with white vinegar and left it in the sunshine for a few days. Much better now. Not completely gone, but definitely better. I am hopefil it will dissipate with time. Otherwise a very comfortable mat. Read more
