The media could not be loaded. Camera focus is not adjustable. It is always at a distance. You can't focus on something close. I have included a still photo of the camera on a table with some markers, a chair in the middle distance (about 3 feet away), and a shelf/TV in the distance (about 7 feet away). The markers are very blurry. The chair is more granular than the shelf. The shelf looks clear. Even if you place something at a distance and digitally zoom in, the zoom makes the image grainy. The darker, granular photo of the bookshelf is from the same distance, on a tripod so I could examine the shelf specifically without getting in the way, and zoomed in so the shelf was the only thing in frame (about 1/3rd of the digital zoom's capability). The camera could not make the photo clear. I included a video of me trying to do what I bought the camera for, to hopefully record myself doing some art about 2.5 feet above the work area. Its incredibly blurry. The focus does not change when you zoom. The lens cannot manually adjust the focus, there is no setting for focus, and it doesn't even try to auto focus like a phone camera might. This camera is probably great if you're gonna record a kid's bday party or something else where you're decently far away. For my purposes ( photographing/recording foster animals, recording art that I'm doing, things that require some closer examination) it will not work. This is supposed to record 4k video at 60 fps, with a 56 MP camera. When I compare the resulting videos I took with ones taken on a busted Galaxy Note 8 I had and tried to use for these purposes prevously, there's just no comparison. The old phone (12 MP, 4k, 30 FPS) was way better, because it could actually be focused on the subject. I wanted to have a dedicated recording device and not a nearly 10 year old phone with a taped over, broken screen. With the 'stats' this camera advertizes itself as, one would hope you could get better quality than what it delivers, but it is really very basic. It seemingly does 1 thing okay (pics and vid from 6-10 feet away) and nothing else. I'm personally disappointed because of what I wanted to use it for, but that might serve other people very well, just keep the lack of focus in mind before purchasing. Read more
