CamelBak Thrive Leak-Proof Tumbler - Insulated Stainless Steel

This is the first time I have purchased a CamelBak tumbler. It is very well insulated. It keeps hot beverages hot for hours, and cold beverages colder even longer. It fits well into the cupholder in the car, so it is great for traveling, especially with the non slip bottom. It comfortable to hold and easy to open and close. What I appreciate most its the lid/spout design. It screws on and has a rubber seal that keeps it from leaking. I would recommend this tumbler, and consider buying one again. Read more

I am so tired of spending money on leak proof mugs that leak. I should have looked at the Camelbak products in the first place since I am a cyclist and I have used them for years. Instead I went with the Stanley hype. The Stanley mug is good and will hold the temperature for a long time but it is not leak proof so it's not totally useless. But this product actually does what it says it will do, temperature for a very long time, longer than expected, and comes at a very reasonable price. I filled it with hot coffee, make sure the lid was screwed on securely and the flap closed, turned it upside down, and shook that sucker until my arm hurt. Not a drop. Finally. In search of the PERFECT tumbler for hot coffee has finally ended! I have went through about 7 tumblers from YETI to HydroFlask and none have come close to this CamelBak tumbler. It fits in my cup holder, it doesn’t leak AT ALL, and keeps the coffee nice and hot until the last drop. The quality of the tumbler, lid and slider look and feel top notch. The product generally does what it is supposed to do but at a cost. I have a much older CamelBak tumbler that did not impress me compared to the competition. I saw this tumbler in person and was impressed with the increase in quality over my previous purchase, plus it claims spill proof. Add in the price is competitive so I bought it. Conclusion: It generally works. The spill proof cap is very large and screws on. Not a big deal, but does take up space. The lid closer is the primary reason for the bulk and needs to be in the perfect place to stop the leaks. It is difficult to get in place and not worth the effort unless you are a clutz and constantly knock your drink over. For me, the extra bulk and effort is not worth the payoff. Just my opinion. Other than that, the tumbler does its job and keeps my coffee hot and my water cold. That is all anyone can ask for out of the tumbler. I may buy another if the price remains competitive. Otherwise, I will go with other brands I already trust and don't have the bulk. Read more

I honestly didn’t expect that I would like this as much as I do. I have found nothing that I don’t like about this cup. Leakproof, easy to take lid off, and fits everything I have with a cup holder. Color look great and my wife loves it. It also keeps ice way longer than it has any business doing. All considered it’s a great cup. Read more
