This thing fits very tightly and my head isn't a bowling ball either. I was interested in this because a conventional mosquito netting has problems, in both hotter and colder weather. Conventional netting doesn't allow free flow of air so it's very hot in summer and in cold weather, it keeps the hot air up against your face and steams up your glasses as it slowly leaks out. It's hot right now so I can only test that part. This balaclava does indeed allow very nice air flow, although the holes are pretty big so no mosquito protection, if that is important to you. Nowadays. I tend to just use a ThermCell to keep the bugs off so not an issue for me. I would fully expect that the hot air dissipation should eliminate the winter problems too, so very happy with performance all around. However, this thing is right at the tolerable limit for tightness of fit, though, so I'm not sure how this is going to fit in during hunting season - it remains to be seen. I've got a lot of items to chose from but I will say that I'm not disappointed to have this available if needed. I plan to give a try during battle field conditions and see how it goes. Read more

I've needed a warm weather mask for turkey and early bow, this fits the bill. Super breathable front and lightweight back. I have a bigger head and its loose on me, but I like that vs the tight stretch fitting ones I have. I can fit a ball cap under it which is nice for those sunny days. Here comes hunting season. I wear a larger hat and this fit me just fine. The opening for sight is big enough to allow me to wear my glasses with it. The material breaths. I pit it on on a hot day and it didn't make me sweat badly, I could feel the breeze thru it. In the fall and in season, it's not summer heat and this will be my go to. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This facemask is great for hot weather. It's got mesh around the face, mouth, and ears so it breathes really well and lets you hear really clearly also. Because the mesh and thin material, it is super lightweight and breathes really well. The mesh still provides good concealment of the face too. The inside of the hood is white, so you have to be careful the white isn't showing if you wear this with the hood portion down. I have a pretty big head, but this still fits comfortably and should work for most adults. Probably too big for kids to wear. Seems to be pretty well made and a good value for a relatively cheap facemask. Read more
