When putting phone in horizontal mode with a slight touch the phone will swivel. I don’t see the magnet holding up if you are walking with the tripod stand. If you place the stand on table and there is not vibration or is accessible to someone bumping the tripod it would work ok. Best to get a grip style mini tripod. Read more
