This is a great alternative to a hat while working out or working in the garden. I purchased due to the fact that I have a very large head and this fits it nicely. Four stars due to quality: it is very thin, something I like because it's cool on my head, but does seem cheap. Four stars also due to price, the only reason I'm willing to pay 6 bucks for a bandana is that none other will fit my head. Read more

The pattern is similar to the marine pattern, although obviously not authentic (for instance, there is no globe and anchor). I've used it extensively and there is no obvious freying, which is good. However, the construction is a bit light-weight, and the pattern is only fully colored on one side of the bandana. The opposite side has the faded "inside-out" look. I've seen similar bandanas from other manufacturers who do not have this issue and are fully pattered on both sides. The one-sided look is no doubt a function of cheaper price/construction. while most bandanas ar 22"x22", these are a generous 27"x27"- they fit easily around the largest head! sturdy fabric may be a bit stiff at first, but by the second wash it softened up nicely. highly recommended! Read more

As an extremely bald guy, I find that I often need protection from the sun at unexpected and/or inconvenient times. As such, I purchased this bandana to keep with me at all times as an impromptu head cover. The bandana itself is just a regular cotton bandana. Quality seems on par with any other that I've ever had. I have sweat on this thing a lot and the color seems to stay fast ( no fading or bleeding yet). Overall, this is exactly what one would expect a bandana to be. Read more
